The reformulated tires are still EL-42's, no new tread design on them, just internal changes.

Just curious as to how you got a 30xxx VIN # even though you are in OH? I was under the impression that the 29xxx's were just being built now. Did you get the car this week? Or do I not understand the VIN# 's?

WANTA04TL My car was built on Thursday,February 12 and arrived at Akron, Ohio dealer late afternoon of Saturday, February 14. I was lucky, I guess. The plant is only 130 miles from here so that helps. Pick my car up tomorrow, 2/17. VIN is in the 30xxxx. I have seen it and gotten it by email from Acura corporate.

How many cars do they build in a day? My VIN is 28XXX and it was built on Feb 5.

Assuming you are in the high 28xxxx and I am in the low 30XXXX that could be about 1,000+ cars in 7 days. That would be 143 car in a day. Assuming an 8 hour shift that would be 2.23 cars per hour coming off the line. Sounds about right, maybe. They could have been on the line for a couple of days but several cars are on the line at any given time.
