Tips for Mirror Install

Hey guys, I've been a TL owner for less than a month and already got ripped off for my passenger side mirror on my 08 . The dude only left me the shell and took the second half, heating element and actuator. I was pissed to say the least. Well I already purchased a new mirror and I have seen there are a few write-ups for mirror replacement's installs however they don't detail how to properly remove the items. Basically what I'm saying which direction/orientation should I remove each item. I don't want to put pressure anywhere and end up breaking clips and messing up my panel. The mirror was expensive enough. Below is the thread I'm referencing. I'm doing it to myself because I don't feel like paying the dealer $125 to install a mirror.

Take a hammer to the old mirror - it's useless anyway right?

I kid.

Remove the interior door panel - https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/how-remove-door-panel-687044/

Remove the cover that hides the mirror bolts (the "door sash inner trim" on that link you referenced to)

Remove the 3 bolts that hold the mirror.

Easy peasy.
