tinting

I'm going to get some tints on my car to preserve my interior. I probably should have search before I ask this question but oh well. Since i have nav in my 06 TL is there a certain degree because of my navi or does it not matter???

Yes, you should search on it; there is a wealth of information on what types of tint and brands are recommended.

As stated in your owners manual metalic tints should be avoided.

Don't spread misinformation. The manual clearly states that metallic tint may cause interference. The reason it's written so loosely is because Honda didn't spend the time or money to test it out. Just a way to cover their ass if it did. However, it doesn't. I ran a 35% fully metallic tint on my TL with Navi for 2 years and absolutely had no problems what's-so-ever.

Potential interference is something to avoid... No?

"Avoid" is a loose term as well, and does not consitute misinformation.
