Tint Scratching even WITH MOLESKIN!

This post should really only apply to people who got scratched tints and then re-tinted after applying moleskin. In retrospect, I should have got the car re-tinted and then added the moleskin.

When my original scratched tints were removed I believe some of the glue dripped into the moleskin. This hardened and scratched my new tint. I removed it but there's a huge scratch on the driver window (which I'll just live with). No other windows showing anything yet. I swiped the moleskin on all 4 doors and didn't find any other rough spots

I haven't actually been having problems with the glue from the moleskin. I believe it is the old glue that dripped into the moleskin from removing my old scratched tint. All I've been able to do is try to clean it out. Only 1-2 other new scratches

I have the moleskin and 2 of my windows have still been scratched with the moleskin. Not as badly, by anymeans. However, it is still annoying. I got 1 of the two replaced for free because originally I only noticed one of the 2 windows scratching. Then after that repair I noticed another one scratching. i think in my case some sand is getting stuck in the moleskin due to dirty construction areas by where I live. I can't keep worrying about scratching, so I'm living with the 1 scratch I've got now. It is only noticeable on the inside of the the car so it isn't an issue yet. Anyway, I'm mumbling... best of luck.

Weird things happen in windy weather and at highway speeds.
