Hey I went to Midwest Glass Tinters for my Civic and I wouldn't recommend his work.

Theres this place called Umbra that seems to work on some nicer cars. Google them. They are in Arlington Heights and do tinting, clear bra etc.

BTW, $200 for the TL for tints

Just called them for a quote on the clear bra and asked about tinting for you

I live in the north burbs too, but it was worth for me to go to naperville to this dude

www.dgtint.com

ChicagoBurbs gave me the recommendation back in August of 07. So credit goes to him for finding a good tint dude

He charged me sumthing like 325 with felt....All around, used extruded SolarGard Premium 40%....9 Months later, it still looks great.

Hope this helps

You mean the "moleskin" stuff? I'm not sure. I didn't ask him! Haha will do tomorrow. Looking to remove my tints right now and get it redone. They are too dark for the po po.

jm, you're right...i talked to him. seems like a nice guy but doesn't guarantee that tint won't be scratched without the felt. he doesnt use felt.

Yeah my tints are all scratched up. Call up some other stores and see if they'll install the felt strip. Otherwise you could always DIY.

Keep me posted!

I highly recommend going to Naperville for this shop as well. I did a couple years back, in fact my silver 2004 Pontiac GTO is on his website right after it was tinted.
