I will be on my way to pick up my 05 TL NBP/Camel/Navi/AT

I would have drove to get it on this past weekend, however, the guy i've been working with over the last couple weeks called me and was saying that all the carriers were booked and wouldn't be able to drive it in on Sat. so it would be today/tomorrow. So i gave him a call on today around lunchtime to see if everything is still a "go" and he informed me that the guy is actually on the road now to drop it off. You may be asking yourself.. "well why not get it today"... The answer to that is that i wanted the Decklid Spoiler. So they're going to install that first thing in the morning and get it detailed for me, etc... And it should definitely be ready by the time i get off work and get down there. It's about an hour and a half drive to where it is so it'll give me time to enjoy my NEW TL and get use to everything. (Don't worry i will definitely keep the Break-in period in mind.) By the time i get back i should have around 80 something miles on it. I'm thinking about asking them if they can throw in the all season mats for the hassile of it not being in on Sat. when they originally told me. What do you guys think of that????

But i'm soooo excited. I've been lurking around this forum for the longest and asking questions and giving my input in regards to this wonderful car and i'm finally able to own one in a matter of 24 hrs. I'm soooo elated!!!!

I'm sure you will anyway, but look closely for little scratches and/or rock chips... sometimes happens in transit on flatbeds. Some people overlook this from the combination of excitement and the fresh detail job.

Thanks a lot guys for the compliments. Special thanks to NDX2 for knowing what to look out for when i arrive to see my black beauty waiting on me. Also it's funny you mentioned about the sleep thing because believe it or not for the past couple nights it's been taking me FOREVER to get to sleep. I just daydream or "night"dream about me actually being in the drivers seat of the TL and it's actually mine. Oh i haven't made this known yet but i recently graduated from college in Dec. 04... and i was able to acquire this SOLELY IN MY NAME!!! So i'm also excited and estatic about that! That's what i was wanting! I was needing to feel a sense of accomplishment for myself and now it's happening!!!

What do you guys think about the floor mats i mentioned? You think they'll throw them in for me?

 

Congrats, I picked up my SSM/Ebony/Navi/AT tonight. I took 2 Excedrin PM's last night and slept like a baby.
BTW, awesome color combo. Was actually my first choice but having owned several black cars in the past I wanted a break from the constant care, BUT nothing looks finer than a cleeeeean black car!
