Time on a tank

OK, I am approaching 11 1/2 hours of driving time on the tank of gas in my car... I have not been over 10 1/2 before...

So, what is the most time someone has logged on a tank of gas?

I've always just measured MPG rather than HPT(hours per tank). Couldn't begin to tell you.

fill her up, start her up, go take a 24 hour nap. come back and check the trip computer. that should get you the maximum HPT

HPT is a strange way of calculating fuel consumption...

stick with miles per gallon... it's more universal

Using average MPG and speed you can reverswe calculate. If he ran out of fuel right now he would have been using 1.478 gallons per hour.

Hey guys,,, flame me or

BUT, I am not stupd and I know about MPGs and do take note of that.... I am not concerned with MPGs with this question!!

I was just asking a question as I have not had over 11 hours before... I was NOT asking for MPGs as there are enough people who ask that question... and it is 29 mpgs with 11 hours and 30 minutes on the tank. I have had 29 before, but it was 8 or so hours as it was highway...
