i got at 4am last sunday for loud music while my car was parked and my boys and i were eating right in front of my car after the club.. my music was on but not loud at all it was on like 5 and the cop said he herd me from two blocks away wich was bullshit because he passed my car and then did a you turn down the blcok to come back... now my question is do i have a shot on fighting this cause he didnt have a Sound Level Meter?

of course you can fight it. a decibel meter probably isnt a standard item in the cops possession, but it essentially comes down to his word against yours. if he shows up in court you might have a problem, in any case you should at the least get a reduced ticket.

you had the volume on 5? i can barely hear 5 when im in the car let alone standing outside of it

wtf? a ticket for what? disturbing the peace?? rofl sometimes i park my car and leave it on louder than that with a system waiting for someone. i didnt know you could get a ticket for loud music...
