Three Week Old WDP with 18" BBS and Goodyear F1
Just bought my WDP 5AT NAV three weeks ago. Replacement for an Audi A6 totaled in an accident. Added underbody kit, 18" BBS RE wheels and Goodyear F1 DS G3. Waiting on Comptech springs.

Been reading the forum and painted the calipers red. I used a paint called Anodizit. It applies over bright metal and looks like anodized aluminum. Also did the engine cover. Good to 500F.
I've enjoyed finding this forum.
Only complaints about car so far:
Why didn't Acura make the sound system play SACD's also. Hopefully we won't all own Betamax's in a couple years. Playing audio of a DVD video would be nice also.
Parchement interior is hard to keep clean
No place to put sunglasses
Best DVD-A's bought so far: (already have about 20)
Diana Krall - all three available
Pat Methany - maginary Day
Grover Washington - Winelight
Sting - Sacred Love
Eagles - Hell Freezes over
Elvis #1's - found at Tower records
David Sanborn - forgot title

I would love to see your car because I have WDP with stock wheels, but your link is broken.

Zonie,
That's a gorgeous ride! I am waiting till mid May to get the exact same combo minus the bodykit. I was told by a few friends that white is not a "young" color. I beg to differ and find your car as proof that the WDP is simply amazing. I chose the quartz interior because my current car has the same interior color and it looks clean all the time. Oh yeah, love the caliper and engine cover color. Did it take you long to paint them?

Engine cover and calipers
The calipers didn't take that long. Did it when I was putting the wheels on. Probabaly a couple hours total, including putting on the new wheels. Took more time to clean and mask than anything. If you do it be sure to degrease real well. In person they look great as the paint really does look like anodized aluminum.
Engine cover took a little while. Cleaned and then primed with special primer for plastic from Home Depot. Two coats of silver then the red top coat. You can get the Anodizit paint at Pep Boys. There are two parts, an under coat (silver) and then the top coat.
If you just do the calipers you only need the top coat. It comes in blue if you want to carry over the blue from the interior, etc.
The tedious part was masking the VTEC logo on the top cover plate for the engine. Had to mask and cut with an Exacto knife, the Acura logo was tough.

VERY nice! Do you have any high resolution pics you could e-mail to tgt624824@tds.net? I'd love to see some better pics with those wheels.
Thanks!
Travis
