Thoughts on Non-OEM Engine Mounts?

I'm not going to buy $20 engine mounts but I'm curious about any worries or bad experiences with non-honda engine mounts. I drive aggressively but no full on racing. My car is about 200k miles, hoping for another 50-100k and curious if It's worth saving $150 on the parts (doing front and side). Bad idea to go around OEM?

I'd go OEM (actually I did go OEM for all six mounts), but then again, I have a 6MT which is apparently more prone to issues with aftermarket mounts compared to the Automatic models.

I wouldn't go with after market mount, the rubber compound is not the same as OEM and they will vibrate even with the new mount install.

With all the issues I had with engine mounts breaking over the years, I went with a urethane one for the passenger side mount (Innovative) and OEM for the rest. Zero issues since, vibration is minimal stopped at idle with the a/c on through the steering wheel. Hands off it, you wouldn't notice it. All other speeds, zero vibration that I've noticed.

The innovative mount is tempting, I assume it's a bit more rigid given the lack of rubber?

i just received a set from ebay this afternoon complete with that fresh made-in-china smell.

we'll see how the install goes this weekend but i'm sure they will be better than broken OEM ones for now.

Just R&R'd the passenger side and front mounts. The stockers had sheared clean off so the car would ride better now. Going to replace the rear and 4 other mounts soon.

I tried a DEA/Marmon mount from RockAuto and it made the car shake, so don't bother with that one.

I used a BECK/ARNLEY 1041689 side engine mount, from rockauto, on my automatic CL-S & was impressed by its quality for the money spent.
IIRC'ly, it was made either in Japan our Malaysia.

Went with OEM recently which made a huge difference in my TL-S' driving feel - 118k mile replacement. I would stick with OEM to make sure it lasts without vibrating, $150 more isn't too significant over the lifetime of the mounts.

Was this front or back mount?
