Thoughts about this TL?
Finally getting my Tl within the next 2 weeks.
I found a TL, little far from me, about 50 minutes but it seems to worth the drive to look at it.
http://ennis-ford.com/Vehicle.aspx?v...&k=&d=&r=&ph=9
Summary: Acura TL 06 WDP /w Navi, Automatic @ 96,000 miles
It also has the lip spoiler which is an additional plus because I would have eventually bought it anyways.
Before negotiation I would get the car at 13,300 before taxes, what do you guys think I should try and get OTD if I like the car?

Looks pretty good. Make sure you know about maintenance history...
If you do love it, and make sure you do, then start the negotiating by saying, "I'll give you 12,500." Be short and direct. The salesman will probably cringe, but be patient and wait for him to respond. Justify this price by pointing out the mileage, and knowing that the big 105K timing belt maintenance is just around the corner. Also, the pics are too low quality to really tell, but the front tires look a little bit worn? Thats $750 for a set of some decent tires.
Dont point out every little thing wrong with the car, but hit the big areas. You could even start the negotiating at 12K. I bought my 04 a year and a half ago, and the dealership had it listed for 11,800. I said, "I cant go any higher than 11." He agreed. But then taxes brought it back up to 11,800.
Good luck!

From the looks of it it looks clean, but like Jonboy said, look at the big stuff, tires, the 105k service and the mileage, ect. If you're going to look definitely call ahead and make sure they still have the car, I went to check one out before I got mine and online it was still listed but when I got there it was sold already. Good luck!!

Not to jack this thread but about the 105k service, will my dealer do that work under warranty? I got a 2 year warranty that covers everything major under the hood.

Of course not, it's simply an added plus compared the another WDP Tl at an Acura dealership.
05 WDP Tl /w Navi @ 103k miles - Price: 14,000 on website.
Was 13,500, they up'd the price to 14,5, then lowered to 14,000.
The 05 tl compared to this 06 tl is obviously better in every way. It all comes down to the price I will get it for otd.

I've been told by users here that if you tell the dealership that you're paying cash that that will cause less room for negotiation, but how would you go about avoiding the question if they ask "how are you paying?", im assuming just say "not sure yet?"
