Oh yeah...for sure man...I see what you meant...you tinted your amber reflector from behind it...I actually did it ON it...but I wanted it blacked to the point of looking black and only showing amber when backlit, which was why I went with blacking the chrome too. Yours look great too...just different than what I had envisioned for myself.
RJ..THANK YOU...I will be placing an order for some switchbacks today...and the rear LED red bulbs too...
Jeowen...Thanks for the compliments man...you're too kind.

I have the type S rear sidemarkers to match the type s tails.
Thanks RJ...yep...I ordered the switchbacks from Vleds. AND the 48 red LED for the turn signal along with 4 resistors.
On a side note, here's an update.
I had the car outside on Saturday night with dew on the car with no condensation.
AND
Just washed the car and had a spec of condensation on the inside. This confirms my theory that this is moisture trapped inside the light. It takes a little to get reacclimated once the lights have been opened or sockets have been pulled on it. Looks like my hairdryer idea worked. YAY...

Thanks Steve. Much appreciate the feedback! Glad you like it...and about the emblem lighting up. It's a secret. But I'll share just with you. It's an AMP'd emblem. Please check out some other threads I've started/posted in to see more about it. lol.
@Roger: Wow...I didn't even know that. I thought all our projector cutoffs were the same. I guess I have a good one then. Yay. Thanks for that!

Ok...I need to put up pics, but basically...put in the switchbacks and because the amber diffuser is in there and blacked out...the light lights up like a greenish yellow. Not what I was going for. I'm going to see about ordering some really strong and bright Ambers tomorrow and hope they are much brighter than the filament stockies.
If they wave the restocking fee for ordering a different set, then I'll probably be putting the lot of them up for sale in the BM. The type 1 switchbacks and the rear turns leds along with the 4 resistors needed.
We'll see!

Looking for options came up with these people...
They make a customer clear diffuser AND
Sequential LED turn signal. I like it, although it might be TOO bright! lol.

i don't know...these people know their stuff. A guy from their website responded to me trying to get more info to give me a price. I will more than likely not put any more money into this mod as i'm really happy with how they turned out, but will share with you all when he gets back to me.
