Third brake light cover removal
Anyone know how to remove the shield around the third brake light? Mine is all full of dust or dirt - must have been kicking around on the factory floor before they put it in. Filthy in there. Plus how would we change the bulb/LED. Any tips on removal very helpful. Dont want to break it.

The cover pulls down as shown in the other thread. Be careful not to twist it (spin/turn it) if one corner pulls loose before the other! It is very easy to break the plastic tabs. Just pull it straight down.

I've also got the dirt inside the 3rd brake light area. When I picked up my car, I noticed what looked like paw prints all over the inside of the cover. It looked like a cat was walking around on the cover before they installed it in the car. I haven't cleaned it yet, but I think I'll try removing it today and cleaning out the mess.
