I had a 2003 CL Type-S w/navi. It got totalled and now I'm thinking about an 04 TL + navi. Is there anything I should look out for? Any common problems to avoid? I've gone through all messages in this forum and the closest thing I can find to a problem is some people complaining about rattles.

I test drove it. I miss the engine growl from the Type-S at WOT Also the steering during hard cornering felt kinda loose. The new navi is great, and interiors are nice. I'm thinking of asking 32 - 32.5k. What are my chances for an Anthracite/black TL+navi for under 33k?

 

Your chances for a TL w/ Navi for under 33k are slim. I think the lowest prices I've seen are still in the low 33s. Regardless, don't let that stop you from trying. Your market is probably very different than other markets, so give it a shot.

Yes, rattles are a recurring theme on this forum, but believe me, from a rattle-owner myself, it's no joke. They just keep getting worse, and when you think they've fixed on rattle, a few days/weeks later a new one rears its ugly head and is much worse than the others.

I'm driving a rental Civic while my car gets its rattles fixed and it has 0 rattles with twice the amount of miles on it.

 

I just got mine about a week ago in Acura of Manhattan for 32,999 with navigation, and No rattles whatsoever, I think the rattle issue is overrated in my opinion.............. I have a NBP with Black interior.

 

The audio system is so good and the XM choices so appealing that I'm never driving with the radio off so the car could be rattling but I'd never know it.
