Thinking about redoing my interior

Not sure what I wanna do with it though. The front seats both have HUGE rips in the seat bottom cushions, so I wanna get the leather redone. I have the tan interior in a WDP. Does anyone think it would look good to do the middle sections of the seats, from top to bottom in black, and have the outside sections stay tan? Just trying to bounce around some idea's here before I spend $1000+ on leather.

I am getting to that point as well. Both of my front seats have ripped bottoms and the rear seats too. I haven't decided what I am going to do about it yet. I personally think Black and Tan would be a nice color combo.

If I ever re-do my interior it would be with Alcantara. Soooo my suggestion is do the middle sections with that and leave the outside sections tan.

Wondering if I should redo all the leather, or just the stuff that I'd be switching to black. Black leather really doesn't show wear as much tan, so I'm thinking it might be okay to just do the middle and not swap out the sides yet.

I'd take it to a custom auto leather shop- you'd be amazed at what they can do even with your exiting seat leather/ vinyl. It might cost a whole lot less than re-doing the whole interior.

Taupe or white inside and black around the rest of the seat.

WDP/Ebony interior FTW! Do it all black, tan is wack lol. If you're gonna get it custom upholstered alcantara is a good idea, the seats on my TBSS were like that, I loved them. They look sharp and grip you a bit better when you're driving aggressively.

Okay, I guess I phrased that wrong. I'm not redoing the interior, just the seats. Probably not changing from tan.
Still thinking about doing black seat centers though!

Leave the black and tan to beer, I think it would look odd on seats. Maybe throw a black towel over the middle and stare at it for a bit? I just think it would be off.

This. You should test it out with a black towel or something like that and see how your car could possibly look. You don't want to spend money on something you'll have to see for the rest of your ownership.

Maybe convert your camel interior to a German shepherd interior? I just can't see it looking right.

If you can save a substantial amount of cash by just doing the centers, then just do the centers. I would do them in black. Material of your choice.

If your looking to re-do the entire seat or have the cash to do the entire seat or just want to do it or w/e then do the whole seat.

But I would do the bolsters/edges in black and the centers in tan. Looks much better with the lighter color being inside IMHO than the other way around.
