Thinking about buying a TL

Sup everyone

I was looking at tsx...but i think i probably like the TL better...

Would you guys buy a TL with 100k miles?
Anyone with 100k+ have any problems?

What year should I stay away from?

Reason why I wanted a TSX first is because i was looking at high mileage car (cant afford a newer one) and I figure if the motor went bad...I can always buy another k24 and drop it in...

You'll love the TL I've had three TL's before. One 03 TL Type S, one 06 TL and now I have a 07 TL Type S. I love the type s. always wanted to go back to the type s version

I bought mine at 110k or so and not many problems from what I have noticed. Just the normal rear deck rattle thats about it. Mine seems to be in pristine shape other than the paint being a bit beaten. Other than that pretty solid car.

Got mine with 130k. No problems except the door and glovebox rattle. Running better than any other cars I've driven with that miles.

Bought mine with 30k three years ago and just hit 175k this week. Its all about who the previous owner was and how they took care of it and drove it. Not a single problem with this car since day one!

105k is the timing belt recommendation which means everything in that area pretty much. Auto trans not really...Just sometimes pressure sensors going out. Only heard a few stories about trans needing to be swapped other than that nothing....Manual wise there is a third gear synchro issue which can be easily remedied by using GM synchromesh.
