Question Are these good deals?

I originally wanted a 5AT TL without NAV and had two local dealerships agreeing to $31,000 (plus TT&L).

After test-driving a TL with NAV, I decided that I'd rather go that direction and was offered $33,380 (plus TT&L) with window tinting thrown in fot a 5AT TL with NAV. Both prices were for the color of my choice that would be delivered within the next two weeks.

I would be very grateful if the group would give me their opinions of these deals in Texas or in general.

The $1,800 discount on NAVI's is "right in there" and a good deal. Just make CERTAIN they don't try to add on any "fees" or other bogus charges to it or else the good deal may turn to simply an average deal. They ALWAYS try to claim some "service" of dealer fee is necessary but in reality it's just them getting the discount $'s back into their pocket subversively.

Both are great deals. My TL without nav was $ 31,700.00, including car cover and protection package. The Nav car is even a better deal, since those cars are in short supply currently.

Probably a fairly good deal. I got mine for $32,000 with tinting, wing spoiler, BSM's, sunroof visor, and wheel locks. I did however, get $2000 more for my old car then Carmax was willing to give me. They didn't know I had a trade until I made my deal on the new car. I therefore think that this money actually came off the top of the new car. I'm also in Texas. Bought in Arlington. Good luck and enjoy your new car. Mine is obviously non-navi.

I'm looking at about $40k includes TTL for a full A-Spec with Nav, windows tinted, in Dallas. Deposit went down Saturday and have to wait till as late as mid-June on delivery.

Both of the Acura dealerships in Austin (David McDavid & Sterling) offered $31,000 wihtout NAV and $33,395 with NAV.

About to close the deal - David McDavid (Austin, TX)

2004 TL 5AT NAV White/Quartz
-Tint
-Body Side Molding
-Oil changes for the 1st year

$33,259 + TT&L

Sterling Acura agreed to match the $33,259 but would not throw in the extras. They were, however, a very polite and professional outfit and I would have probably preferred to do business with them if they would have come closer to matching McDavid's deal. I highly recommend James Hicks (Internet Manager) to others who are looking for an Acura in Austin.

Thank you to all of the forum members who responded to my inquiry. Having access to the information that this discussion board offers is priceless.
