Thermostat. Rockauto or oem?
Got some items in my cart on rockauto and going to do my timing belt service and few other things. Still running original thermostat at 246k miles. Is something i should probably change even tho ive had no issues? are any of the rockauto ones any good like Mahle or Aisin? Or do i need to just buy one from honda. I figured maybe one of these companies might make them for honda

Buying the thermostat from Honda/Acura is the safest bet. Doesn't matter who makes it and whether you can find it in the aftermarket.
The delta in cost is probably $20. Not worth having to drain the coolant and do labor again if the aftermarket thermostat fails.

i havent placed order yet. I have a honda one in my cart tho from online honda dealer. I just figured maybe Mahle or Aisin made the thermostats for honda and i could save some $ by getting one of those. But i cant seem to find an answer

This is totally anecdotal, but earlier this summer I got back-to-back DOA Denso alternators from Rockauto, who I usually swear by. Probably just an anomaly, but it's worth noting that quality control and availability for auto parts is still in the trenches post-covid. To Brolandos point, OEM for something like this has got to be the safest bet. It would suck to replace your old but working OEM thermostat with an inferior replacement brand and have it fail shortly after.
Alternatively, I'm also an advocate for not replacing (certain) parts if they aren't broken. You could consider that the only real benefit of replacing your thermostat at this interval is losing less coolant out of the thermostat when it's removed. It's on the other side of the engine....if it came down to a replacement later on in the future, all you're really looking at is another gallon or so of coolant. Just my two cents.
