Question Is there a fix for the loss of memory seats?

I lost my seat memory for the 3rd time. I called the dealer about this and they said I this was the first they ever heard of it. They had no idea but just wanted to "take a look". I told them to see if there was fix, but they had no service bulletin. I am not taking it in, especially since dealer is 90 minutes away, unless a solution is known.

Does everyone else with this problem lose both 1 and 2 positions at the same time? Mine has both 1 and 2 with nothing stored at all. Neither button will light or move seat. Once a position is stored again, everything works fine again.

Thanks for the help.

I lost them again recently. I'm not sure if what I did caused it though --

1) Open car with fob #1.
2) Start car, left in park.
3) Hit the "2" button just to see if the settings were still there. They were. Seat started to move WAY forward (wife is 1'2" shorter than I am).
4) While seat was moving, hit the 1 button. Seat goes back to my spot.

The next time I started the car, the settings were gone for both drivers.

I'm told the fix is coming soon, and to hang tight.

Whatever your dealership says, Acura engineers should already pay attention to this matter. My dealer told me the same story on Nov, they never heard of that. But, two weeks ago, they and ACS all confirmed with me that engineers are working the new module now...

I just lost it a few minutes ago, when I parked in my garage, I hit my memory#1 from #2 (I was using #2 this afternoon), and turned off the engine, opened the trunk, then suddenly two memories are all gone... no matter what I tried, they're disappeared.

.....

I don't worry about it anymore... as long as Acura is trying to fix it...

It seems that every time you tell the Acura dealer that you have a problem and you know many others are having the same problem also, they always say "This is the first time we are hearing of it".

I told my dealer about it and he ordered me a new #1 fob, told me to use #2 in the meantime. While I doubt a new remote will fix the problem, using #2 has been working for about a week now. Seems to me I usually lose the info by now, although I have seen a couple times where the light is not lit and I can't select it at all. Strange
