Just go to Brians ebay page and email him. He has a package for members of this forum for a good price.

I'm reading that changing the glove & center console lights can be nearly impossible. Anyone know of a picture tutorial? I can't find one.

It's really not that hard- the white plastic with black back form a housing that twists off the black plastic that holds the bulb. Just twist off- hold the wire in your hand and twist the white part.

The problem is the new LED bulbs are longer than the stock so twisting that housing back on can be impossible if you don't first file down the LED. Breakage can occur when you try to forcr the housing on without filing he filing itself. Be patient!

Thanks - It looked like it twisted out somehow and I tried that but nothing budged. I'm afraid to break it. There's really nothing to grab onto to twist imo.

I have ebony interior and tried both the hyperwhite and blues for the dome lights. I bought the hyperwhite for fear the blue would look too pimpy. On the Ebony - I don't feel it does but I could see it perhaps being too too on lighter toned leather. Actually, it doesn't seem that blue to us at all on the black.

I have ebony interior also and would like your opinion on which one you like better, blue or white.

I've got an ebony interior. I use the hyperwhites in all lights except for the doors, put blue ones in there. My wife hates it, I think it looks good.

I bought Hyperwhite for everything except the doors. For those I got Blue.
I also got an extra pair of blues to switch back & forth to see what we liked.
First I had the 4 domes all blue - cool! Then switched to Hyperwhite - cool also, but we are likeing the blue better right now.

We're in our mid 40's and didn't want anything that would attract attention from cops, etc. and before trying them, felt blue might be too conspicuous & a head turner in a big concert parking lot, etc. When I put the blue in, it seems the black leather absorbs it. I hauled in various other items of different colors and I think with the camel or grey interior, it would reflect the blue more. I felt with the black - it's not "too too". Where it really shows the blue is the rear center seat armrest area at the top. The light seems to really focus on that area strongly.

We can read things just fine inside. I don't want a bright interior when I open the door coming from a club at 2am and I feel the blue is comfortable. We are liking the blue and not finding it over the top ridiculous. Either way, we have extra whites if we want to change. They're only $5 a pop.

I also think the blue interior works well with the WDP. It's 'cool' but 'pretty' at the same time and not pimpy like I thought it would look. Kinda cute.

IMO - Definitely get blue for the doors. Very cool.

if u have trouble fitting the glove & center console bulbs back in, like I did, you can file the tip of the bulb down almost to the light source so they have more room. after filing, I polished it back to clear with a nail buffer.

ililil - did you find swapping the console & glovebox lights worth the effort? Was it better? Can you see in the console better? Think it's worth it?
