On behalf of Team Anthracite, I would like to formally welcome and acknowledge Team White Diamond.

I hope your team is like many of the other fine teams that won't buy into the Us vs. Them mentality, as couple of other not so bright teams have done.

We pride ourselves in helping and understanding, not bashing and knocking others.

If Team Anthracite can assist you in anyway, let us know.

Much success in starting your team, by the way, I love the WDP color, it is truly one of my favorite colors.

This is perfect! I'm picking up my WDP tomorrow evening. Gentlemen...would it be a little shameless of me to choose....Vice President? And as your VP, I vow to work with the President to ensure that Team White Diamond will NOT get into any such nonsense as to say our cars are any better, faster, or superior to TLs of different teams . How does that sound? Well, I guess I won't be sleeping tonight so someone please tell me if there is already a VP.

I just have one question... Who is your president? (I don't recall seeing a organization chart for Team WD) "If" for some reason you don't have one, you (dsc888) sound like you would be a great president :think: otherwise VP will work too (although I know your team needs to second that montion).

actually i like the WDP a lot. blue anthracite white and black all kick ass IMO. i would have actually considered blue had they given black or parchment interior options

Thanks for the suggestion. I assumed that someone had already chosen the President position. On top of that, I didn't suggest Team WD and have no experience in setting up a website for us. I figured I let someone else more qualified to run the group. So does anyone want to be the head honcho ?

I only have pre-delivery photos at this point with the car all covered in plastic and dirt from sitting in the lower level of the transporter truck. Yuck. I'll post them once I process them.

I'll 2nd that nomination. You gotta give credit to the person who came up with the suggestion. Seems like we have a pretty decent membership here. Well, lets hope rynpamn21 chimes in soon to accept his appointment.

And as for digital_b's comment re: teams being immature, well, I like to just say that there is no shame in joining other enthusiasts in support for something you feel strongly about. That's what forums and group meets are all about. It's another way of expressing our love for the TL. However, please understand that I am not attacking you. You are entitled to your opinion but I probably would not make such a blanket statement re: those who have joined teams.

The white ones really look super-nice. If it weren't for the fact that I've wanted a new black car since ... well always, I would have gotten a White Diamond one.

Not that second choices matter, but you've at least got an ally from the Nighthawk Black Pearl side.

Thanks for chiming in. The Abyss Blue was my other choice but my current car is dark blue/green so I needed something just opposite and something that would hide scratches, swirls, and minor dings. I got fed up with all those battle scars on my Camry. But your color is definitely menacing as my coworker said...in a very good way.

And for those of you who have kept track, I did NOT get my care today. Dealer finally confirmed and scheduled delivery for Wednesday at 5 PM. It's OK. It may rain here in Boston tomorrow so I would hate to see my baby all mucked up. BTW, UPS delivered my bodykit today. I am still waiting on the lip spoiler from this forum's groupbuy. Hope it comes soon.

Mike...Would you like to be our interim Prez for now? I know you are from Team Anthracite but we don't have high profile members like Boltjames here to drum up enough intrest :smackhead . I seriously think we need a Spokesperson and a PR guy. In the meantime, I'll stay active here between work and home to help with the team. I might go missing a little tomorrow guys. You know why based on my signature .

My first undertaking as VP at Team WD is to see if the more technical savvy members here would like to take upon the task of setting up a basic website for us. Like other teams here, it will allow us to see each other's cars and will allow us to see our team grow over time. So if you are interested, please let us know. Your effort is greatly appreciated by everyone.

I-am-not-worthy :bowdown:, if I were to be your interim president, I could only imagine wrecking my car and purchasing a WDP, that would just be too funny.

I suspect you are keeping track of all members names and titles? if so, your half way there. From time-to-time, you will need to run interference for your team when the Evildoers start fights (I call it Knucklehead Patrol).

Mike...Thanks for the flattering words. I am trying to keep track of everyone here as I type and am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my baby tomorrow at 5 PM. This board is really an incredible melting pot of sorts. I am happy to have seen few, if any, of our Team WD fellow members start heated debates for the sake of arguing over peanuts.

The position of president is still open and I hope that someone with better leadership and organizational skills step up to the plate.
