Teach me about tail lights

So I bought a 2007-08 base tail lights from a vendor and there is a broken part. I just want to know if this will give me issues during the installation.

Here is a pic:

It will, but nothing you cannot work around. It's an alignment pin for the taillight in to the frame, but the M6 threaded rods securing the light work in the same capacity, and the tolerances are rather tight, so I can't forsee any major issues.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm thinking about using super glue the put it back together. Should I bother? I'm kinda anal when it comes to these things.

use a two part plastic bond. it'll attach it together 10x better than super glue.

any auto parts or home improvement store will have it. Some grocery stores have it too in the small auto section.

its usually labeled as plastic epoxy. Gorilla glue is one of the more popular brands.
