Tasteful or Tacky? - Door handle Acura logo accents
Saw these on eBay when I was surfing through ....
At first glance I thought they were interesting ... wondering how they would look. What do you all think?

^^^^ Agreed. But they're small and inconspicuous enough that they'll be fine on the door handle too.

Tacky, the A on the front and back is enough. If there weren't holes in the trunk lid I'd take the back one off. The less emblems the better. The best part of the TL is the clean body lines, don't clutter it up.

On the handles, tacky. However on the rearview mirrors it may look better.

Tacky.
@350 - I was thinking about removing badges from the trunk, so the Acura emblem has holes behind it? Does anyone know if the other ACURA and TL badges come off easily? I want to either remove them completely or plasti-dip to match nighthawk black pearl. Thanks.

The "Acura" and "TL" badges both come off with no holes behind them. Best way I have found is dental floss and goo gone.

The big A has 2 holes and an indent so it would take some body work and a repaint to delete. The Acura and TL are just taped on, fishing line or plastic scraper/credit card and a heat gun, then some 3M adhesive remover did the trick for me. The A looks good dipped black, much cleaner without the other emblems.

OK yeah I wanted to keep the "A" anyway. Im guessing the removal is similar to the license plate light replacement, removing the trunk fabric piece etc.
I guess marking where the ACURA and TL badges are originally is a good idea for putting them back..
As for plasti-dip, do you just paint over the existing chrome? FYI I found Dupli-Color spray cans that sell most OEM colors for many cars as well as clear coat, that can definitely be a $$ saver if you haven't heard of it before.
Thanks for the feedback!

Tacky unfortunately. I don't personally like cars that throw their badges or names incessantly all over the place (Some mustangs are good examples). Besides it gets rid of the clean seamless sides that make the car look so attractive D:
