Tan vs. Grey Interior

I'm looking at two preowned Acura TL's, both have white exteriors.
The prices are similar, but I can't make my mind up as to which interior color I prefer.
Can anyone post their experiences/opinions?

Thanks!

When they were writing up the paperwork on a WDP/Taupe (color combo I was set on), I sat in a WDP/Quartz...I told them to change the paperwork almost immediately. Been very happy ever since.

I definitely agree. I thought the grey looked terrible too, but a couple of my friends tried to talk me into it.

Ohhh-k... My TL-S two-tone interior is gorgeous... u guys r nuts for dissing on the grey.

But from the OP options, I guess tan will go better in a base TL

The tan looks like crap. I was getting ill just sitting in it. The grey is classy and will stay that way. Don't make a huge mistake.

My 2001 TL had the tan interior and it took a lot to keep clean. So now I have the 2006 WDP with black interior. Looks great and easy to keep clean. I couldn't be happier. Don't know about the grey.

Grey is not "terrible" - there are a lot of people here who probably like it a lot.

With White I'd go with Tan/Beige/Parchment or Black, personally. I do think that White/Tan is one of those "classic" color combo's.

However, keep in mind that the lighter color carpeting allows stains and wear to show more prominently. So if you've got a lot of traffic, spillage, can't take time to clean it, etc, then a darker color might be better for you.

I have the tan interior, and I think it looks classy with the wood trim... as they say girls dig it! but it's a pain to keep clean... i have a towel in the car along with meguiar's leather cleaner/conditioner in 1 bottle just to make sure I can wipe away any smudges i see....

Obviously I like the tan (camel or parchment) interior. But with white, I think the tan is a better look. Grey is better with RBP,KBP,SSM, AM or even NBP IMO.

Tan and black are equally good imo...I test drove a gray and hated it...it didn't even look as nice as the leatherette (fake leather) in my old Audi.

I agree, what it comes down to I think is how well you'll be able to maintain the inside. If you think you can stay on top of things, go with tan, if not grey is also a fine choice. I have a WDP with grey interior and I love it.

Tan with the silver/aluminum interior trim looks awful to me. Not a good color combo at all.

Before '07 (I think) Parchment interior comes with wood trim, whereas Quartz & Black have Carbon Fiber trim. I love my Quartz interior, I could've had other TLs with Tan/wood, but I didn't like it.

this is all personal taste ofcourse....tan is brown, taupe is not brown, its more of a gray, then there is quartz which is the gray....i cant stand brown in my cars, so its taupe or gray or black....my type s has the taupe and i kind of like it....it wasnt my first choice, but couldnt find the two tone gray and black....

I really like the brick color....I believe the 2009 TL will offer it.

I had parchment in my 00 TL... it was nice, but the leather was a pain to maintain...

Mine is WDP with the Taupe interior, identical to this car:

Not really a fan of 'beige' interiors but I like mine. The black/grey/aluminum accents break up the monotone of it, and the lighter interior makes the car look more modern and inviting.

On a WDP car grey is meh. I'd defeintely go for the beige option (either Taupe or Tan).

I think Taupe , Parchment, and Gray look cheap. Personally, I have gray and it looks a bit dated in my opinion, I think Camel and Black look the best.
