So here's the story. I parked outside a cafe and was talking with some friends outside. We then decided to leave so I'm walking towards my car, right when I walked up to my car, literally like 3 feet away, there's a camry next to me on my driver's side backing out. So I wait for him to back out so I can walk to my door, he then floors it out of his parking spot, and since it is one of those 1 way lanes, the cars are slanted. His wheel is turned too much and his front bumper comes scraping against my door. Given his speed, he didn't stop until he got out of the parking spot.

He didn't try to run away or anything, I was right next to my car and saw it happen. Even if he did run I think my TL-S can catch a 2000 camry 4 cylinder Good thing he has insurance and is taking full liability

Sucky situation but at least it's gonna be okay.

I know I'm not the first to say this but damn why are so many active members getting their cars fucked? Including myself!

Edit; ask for a new wheel and keep that one as a spare or sell it

Wow! Sorry to see such a scrape. Glad the person that did this is taking responsibility. Kinda rare these days. She will be good as new soon.

Sorry to see this, luckily nobody was hurt. Take this as a blessing as you might be able to possibly get your car fixed for a lesser amount of your insurance check, or to upgrade something on your car. Good luck with your repairs.

Hmmm... that is one case where the BSM's might have actually came in handy.

Sorry that happened to you though.

This sucks when things like things happen. You always try to keep your car nice and clean and always trying to avoid things from happening to your car but others just don't seem to avoid you. It's a good thing he took full responsibility in the damage and willing to have his insurance take care of it.

Hope it turns out okay.

If you get the wrong one, you can always tell them to get you the right one since the other guy is at all and they are suppose to try to replace everything to the way how you had it.

sorry to see...i would have had it out on the guy if i actually saw him do it.

another TL getting injured.

thankfully the guy is insured and the idiot didn't try to drive off. how come people don't know how to park and drive in a parking lot??? i've had the hit and run happen a few years ago... hopefully the insurance will work it all out for you and the car will be back to good as new.

I'm getting the a-spec side skirts to complete my aspec lip kit(only had front and rear before) and also getting front bumper repainted in the meantime due to scrapes and rock chips. my car will be done in a couple days and should look better than ever
