Nick, get it wet, with soapy water. Really douse it good. Heating it up with a hair dryer helps afterwards-while it's still wet.

ight will try in the mornin, and also. theres a shop near me that tints tails they say its not a spray or a film, and that its permanent and looks factory made. any idea wat they do to it then... my overlays looked cheap

I doubt it's anything that came standard from the factory. And as other have said you need to use heat.
When I took my fog overlays off, I turned the fog lights on for heat (they are HID) and sprayed Windex on the overlay as I peeled it off to avoid small pieces breaking off.
In your case you will need to use a hair dryer or something similar, while spraying Windex or other fluid onto the overlay as you peel it back. I would have someone hold the heat steady and spray the fluid so you can use both hand to peel the overlay off.
