Post A/T to M/T TL. Worth it??

I got a 05 A/T WDP w Navi 73K miles still owe $16K. I've done everything so far besides S/C.(pulley,rv-6, leds, rsb,CAI,tbs, etc etc) im getting bored of the A/T. i know Accuratein switched from A/t to M/t but he has a whole other objective with his car. So my question is, is it worth switching to a M/t 04-06 TL Navi and swapping all my parts from the a/t to the m/t or should i be looking for a different car. Theres nothing in the market that i "jump" at. My only requirement is 4dr. im looking in the 18K range.

any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks!

hang onto your TL. Gonna take a killer hit in cost. You have negative equity in your car right now. Why place yourself in a worse situation especially with this economy?

Infamouslink, when you sell your car .. you still have to pay tax / license fees.

I don't think you can find a 6MT for 2 grand (give or take) less than your TL with similar mileage.

Hang onto your AT, I know it hurts .. haha.

+1. especially from a dealership x_X.
and i'm scared i'm gonna get bored with the AT as well even after modding like you. but i was looking around for a 6mt and most the cars equal to mine in mileage are priced ridiculously high for what they are and actually it's hard to find any m/t TL for sale down south x_X. but if i could at least find a 07-08 M/T (don't care if its base/type-s at this point) you think they'd possibly call it an even trade if their car has equal or more miles than mine?

Tranny swaps on FWD cars are almost never worth it. Neither is trading the car.

It would be nice to find a fair trade but that could be impossible. Yes it's ALOT of fun with the M/T but in this economy I would save your money and stick with what you have

if i sell the A/t and get a m/t. with tax and other associated cost, it'll be like 3000 more probably. the hard part might be finding a buyer for my TL but i dont think so not really looking to make a crazy offer just something close to what i find for a m/t and here in NY, theres a lot of search options so we'll see. THE SEARCH HAS BEGUN FOR A 6-SPEED NAVI TL!

i used to have a 2004 6speed then traded it in for 2005 AT and now i kinda want the 6speed again but i cant justify paying the extra money and buying a used somebodies car and i bought mine new . All in all u gonna get tired with either one...and in NYC for sure belive me, happend to me. why dont u invest in a supercharger instead.

is300? a G35 coupe isn't too bad, its a pretty spacious coupe and i prefer the way it looks over the sedan x_X. you can go the american route and look for a charger r/t or something lmao.

After owning a 2004 TRD 4X4 Limited Tundra Crew Cab, loaded with all the extras. Borla, Snugtop, bed carpet, K&N intake. I went to an 06 Accord EX Nav, auto. Then an 06 TL Nav, auto. Then an 07 TL-S auto, then a 2007 Civic Si sedan, WHICH WAS A BLAST compared to the other Honda Auto's. Now my MODDED 2006 WDP Nav 6 speed is another whole world.

Manuals on MODDED TL's are A BLAST. IMHO

you probably read two lines and jumped over everything else. not swapping tranny, swapping cars from a/t to m/t.
