Was thinking of putting Mobile-1 synthetic tranny fluid in my
08 TL (automatic). Any one think this is ok or not advised. The warrenty
is expired and the Acura dealer said the "acura genuine fluid" is a synthetic blend anyway so he did'nt see any problems. Just wanted to see what other
Acura owners thought.

If you do a search on Mobil 1 ATF, you find enough reading to keep you occupied for a while and reading about ATF in general might take you into retirement. ATF is a personal choice, so I'm certainly not going there again, but I will say that the Mobil 1 ATF is not recommended as a replacement for the Honda Z1 fluid, however, a recommendation by a manufacturer never stopped people on this site from using that fluid.
