Synchro's not synching!
I now have about 1200 miles and my 6MT/A-spec/Navi is great.
However, I pulled out of Lowe's and thought I was in First. However, I stepped on the gas and got very little. No RPM rev, no stall as I let out the clutch but I moved forward at about 2 miles per hour even though I stomped on the gas? I put the clutch in and then went to neutral and back to first and then went forward as usual. No grinding. It felt as though I wasn't yet in gear but I wasn't in the neutral gate either. The only thing I could figure is I had engaged the synchro but not fully the gear?
I immediately noticed a burning smell in the car. I only went about 10-20 feet like this (my nose was out in the lane but luckily no one was coming). I opened the windows and this cleared.
I've noticed this a few times - while I'm stopped at a light I'll put in the clutch, attempt to place it in first and feel as though its not quite in first but in some in-between stage. I then go back to neutral and then back to first before I add gas, let out the clutch and pull out.
This happened about 300 miles ago and I haven't had a problem since.
Any thoughts? I read the double clutching post with link that mentioned that you, while stopped at a light, should put it in 2nd with the clutch all the way in before you put it in first and this will engage the synchros properly?
Thoughts?

Yeah, the 'in Third' idea crossed my mind also and may very well be what I did, since I was talking to several people in the car about all the great features. That might just have been it. Haven't had a problem since and really love the car.
