Just order the bulbs and do the relay resistor mod to prevent hyper flash

I don't recommend doing that. Some people have experienced really messed up electrical issues. Not only that but that relay is a bitch to get out without breaking tabs, and if you ever want to reverse it you have to buy a new relay. Why not just do the easy plug and play way and use vleds system? Not only that but if the OP is looking at the V3 Triton switchbacks, they have a built in equalizer.
I'm not even sure if that's the OP's question anyway though. He talks about adapters. If your looking at the V3's you simply select whichever bulb base your replacing and the kit will come with the correct adapter for your application.

I highly recommend only going with the V3's. Everything else pretty much sucks in comparison. Spend a little extra and do it right the first time. I think they have 20% off promotion that's good through today!!

Yeah that's what scares me about doing mine. I have hyper flash but I don't mind it. Rather have super quick blinking then risk the chance of electrical problems. Just thought I'd tell Op there's an option to get rid of it

the entire bulb assembly you removed from the connector, pull the bulb out and plug it back in to the connector, the base from the V3 plugs in place of the bulb

You'll only have electrical problems if you do a bad solder job and it's very reversible as long as you keep the shunt. Since the V3s have resistance built in yeah, might as well make use of it.
