I just ordered my switchbacks so I can not give you first hand experience yet as I am still waiting for them. I have done some research though and the resistors I bought are actually the same ones that CLtotheTL32 bought. He said he has had them for some time now and they were still holding up great, heres the link

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=019-015

as for the switchbacks I purchased the type 2 60led switchback from v-leds. Not sure if they will work but hopefully will have them in by the end of the week. I would think you should be able to get an answer before I get mine and install them but if not I will let you know how everything went with mine.

V-LEDs
There are two types---One shines white and flashes amber-off-amber. The other shines white and flashes amber-white-amber.
You will also need resistors.

please use the right/clean method of resistor IN the relay under the dash. the resistors behind the headlight looks messy and more prone to failure(bad connection)

Not to highjack the thread but this should inform you also. When my switchbacks came in I was going to install the resistor in the trunk following the garage DIY thats linked below. What is the under the dash install way, is there a DIY? Also is that better then the trunk, I definitely don't plan on installing them behind the headlight though.

I installed the same resistors in my trunk and haven't had any problems yet. I think I tapped into the rear turn signals if I can remember right. It's been a couple years.

Here's more info on the resistor for the signal relay under the dash. It's alot easier to install this way. I have done both ways. PM me if you need the resistor.

Should work, I Read that if you have only the switchbacks in the front and nothing in the rear you will need a 6 ohm resistor on each side of the car. If you have Switchbacks on the front and just normal stay on LEDs (Not for our car) on the back then you need 3 ohm resistors. And for our cars if you have Switchback on the front and Turn Signal LEDs on the back you will need 6 ohm resistors for each side as well. I didn't buy these but found some on Ebay which are 6 ohm each. They cost about the same price as VLeds but look a little smaller. Ill be installing them today when my switchbacks get here. I already have my LED turning signals for the rear and resistors on hand. Ill post some pics if I do get around to installing them today

6ohm for one pair (front OR rear) Installed near the lights
3ohm for 2 pairs (front AND rear) Installed in the trunk only
