you interior looks hot with the red door handles and door pockets, i think some nice 5k white LED's for your driver and passenger door will finish it off nicely.

you probably know what i'm talking about now, but these are just some examples.

While EL strips work well for a greenish motif, EL strips will never color match a blue LED; I personally would not recommend them if you intend on making this your default color. The only way to truly replicate such an effect while maintain a 'clean' blue would be to form an acrylic diffuser about the circumference of the cup holder.

Is that why you never put door sills in? or have you?

No door sills yet. My modification days are on stand-by for awhile yet as the missus is expecting in a few months and I've put a stop to all TL modifications for this year.

If I was going to do the sills, I'd do yours - period. There's no comparison, and for the overall aesthetic improvement of the vehicle, the mis-match, although lesser in your design than SC's, are well wroth it.

Congrats, my wife and I just had a baby girl on august 14th. That however does not mean mods are on hold lol. I installed my RV6 V3 pipe when the baby was 3 days old :-) Babies sleep a lot haha

James, I love the lights you added to your car's interior man...very subtle and classy!

I just bought an 08 TL Type S 2 days ago and was hoping to see if anyone out there w/ an 07/08 TL could tell me or show me via pictures where the stock footwell LED is on the driver's side.

Mine is burnt out and I can't find it for the life of me!! Thanks in advance!!

The footwell LED should be in the center of the lower panel cover. You have one in each footwell. For a little bright light, just peel off the LED rubber cover. I think you have to remove the lower panel to actually change the bulb.

Interesting. Mine works, but I find it very dim. How much of a difference is there if you peel off the coverx and can it be put back on? Any pics by chance?

Great mod, definitely want to tackle it. Anyone know where i can tap a supply line from inside the door so I don't have to mess with the circuit board?

Its all in my thread if you read through it. I did that exact thing so no wires have to be disconnected if the door panel comes off and complete installation can be done inside your house with the door panel.
