Swapping Base pedals for Type-S?

Looking into swapping my base tl's brake and accelerator pedal to the type-s ones.

Is there really much to this? I assume it's pretty simple.

I believe the OEM route isn't just covers. I *think*, for the accelerator at least, you have to buy the whole assembly.

Because of this most people just buy the Supercomputers or USR products.

$60 for all four? Seems like a good deal to me...

If my memory serves me correctly I think you can actually do that install without power tools. Just give it a little bit of elbow grease. I mean, aren't the pedals plastic anyways?

Very good point that's exactly what I was thinking.

Thanks for the link I just ordered them.

I found a few threads on the OEM pedals and it is not a simple install.

The brake pad peels off and the new OEM aluminum cover uses 4 included rivits to attach. No drilling required.

The accelerator assembly does needs to be completely replaced.

The Unique Style cover holes do not match the pattern of the OEM holes. I believe you would need to drill new holes. However, I don't know about the foot rest. Don't recall how the OEM rubber footrest is attached.
