How's it going Guys, I recently picked up a 07 TL with low miles and was wondering if I would run into any problems swapping the motor and Transmissin being that there different years. I'm also wondering is their any site on help getting the dash out of a TL?? Any information would help thanks.

You want to put the newer engine and transmission into the older car? I'm assuming that the newer one is wrecked. The engine and transmission is the same (transmission actually is from the RL if I'm not mistaken) so they'll fit.

what are you trying to do OP? sound like you bought a low mileage 07 wrecked and try to swap into your 04 TL. If this is the case you will need to transfer the harness along with ECU over 07-08 is different than 04-06

even if he bought a wrecked 07...it still doesnt make ANY SENSE to do what he's asking.

if he wanted the engine and tranny combo, he could have just bought that ALONE.
this BEGS the question, what the fuck is wrong with the 04?
