Do any of you guys with an 04 or 05 TL have suredrain on your vehicle? If you do, what is the thread size/model number for the suredrain?

YOu could also try the Fumoto Drain Valve. People on the G35 site have had some good experiences with it. You just put in your car type on their website and they show you which one you need.

From looking at it, you need the F-106 (I wouldn't get the N model which adds a nipple to drain the oil through a hose. It takes extra long to drain and it just one more thing that may hit the ground). Let us know what you do!

I've used the Fumoto valve for 15 years with out a problem. Had two cars that I used the Fumoto both without nipple. You don't need the nipple. I also use the sure drain. The sure drain is a little neater as far as getting oil on you. I don't use the sure drain hose. It does not need it. Both are excellent as far as I'm concerned.

I used the Fumoto on another car before when Kragen carried them. For the sure drain, you can probably try the SD2. I did not find a direct part number for the TL but most of the V6 Acura's list SD2. Buy it from a place you can return if it does not fit.
