Supercomputer pedals fabrication

I'm getting these pedals for my bday from my awesome wifey (cough) **brown noser** (cough)...she reads the threads too

Just wondering if anyone in here has done this before:

The Gas and brake pedals have the "A" emblem on them...

1.) How would i take it off without damaging the finish in any way?
2.) I have a dremel tool...would this be appropriate to use to take them off?

**My main concern is to not damage the finish in any way**

What/how would you tackle this project?

You guys' (n gals') input would be deeply appreciated...TIA!
