Superchargers and Turbos

Read a few post and saw a pic of a prototype s/c. Not 2 sure how i feel about a s/c with such a long snout. Curious to see how it is supported. Any new news on the turbo's??

I saw a slick set up on Two Guy's Garage for a turbo.
They took a stock Z28 with around 268 hp to the wheels and bolted up a turbo and put out around 400 to the wheels.
The turbo was bolt on. They removed the duel exhaust from the rear of the car and bolted it up there. The turbo, air filter and exhaust pipe were all in the place of the stock duel exhaust in the rear of the car.
The intake pipe and oil feed ran up to the front under the car.
When the hood is open it just looks like someone has a cold air intake on, no sign of the turbo. I haven't checked their site yet to see what other cars this bolt on turbo applies to.

Its def possible on any car... all depends on how much time and creativity you have. There are several Lightning trucks perfecting turbo kits and they are making severe power.

The Z06 twin turbo Lingenfelter vette, you cant even see the turbos. I was racing one weekend at Epping, NH.. he was running 8.94 in 80 degrre weather.... the car is insane....

I would like to get under the hood of the TL with a friend of mine... maybe start the works for a kit....

the system you are talking about is the STS system it suppose to not need a inter cooler since it is put so far back on the exhaust. some ppl like them some ppl don't. though it takes alot of room to have all the plumbing to go from the engine to theback of the car then back to the engine then back to the back of the car again and out
