I think the internals are fine from everything i've read. The issue is that this blower is undersized for our type S'. I think we need an M90.

It's very consistent with any performance mods for the J series engine in terms of dollar to horsepower gained ratio.
Haha, your confidence in me is flattering. If only I could afford a blow w/ tune job (didn't Bill Clinton get one of those once?) and had a 2nd car to drive.

Our Big Brands Promotion ended where we were giving a $40 rebate on Flashpro. Sorry may have missed that!
No problems at all. These kits are made to be very reliable and long-lasting.
This is sort of a misleading statement. The blower is undersized if you are trying to get 100+ hp out of it. For basic boost levels with some nice tuning and good fuel, it will work great on a TL-S. Also important to know this kit was designed well before the TL-S came out.

It's amazing how everyone who says this, have little knowledge of the comptech blower. I will post some proven facts, videos and links to what I will say next. The kit was tested on a STOCK as is TL. We all know, that the automatic versions made less power compared to those of the manual ones. Here is proven numbers from many members here who have dyno tested their TL's STOCK

If you like to do some reading

Ok, now that we have a ROUGH idea of what the car does stock (Keep in mind every test varies, based on cars overall mechanical condition, weather and temp conditions and altitude)
Here are some comparisons of what a Stock TL does with a blower.

Now, modified TL 6-speed with a blower

The fastest know was OPEL hitting I believe 365 whp and running stock injectors and the crushed fuel pressure regulator on a high boost pulley = RIP LMAO. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/supercharger-gains-most-who-achieved-838639/
Not trying to piss in your cereal, a lot of people have the idea of 5K only gets 50 hp is not really true. On average those guys made m more. I will dyno my TL once I install my high flow pre-cats with ceramic coating and the high flow 3rd cat. I should end up in the 320-330 range. (6mt with a the blower running 100 octane)

This is based on what others have done from Stock automatic and Stock manual. Not every car is going to dyno the same. There's a good solid 10 varies which throws one dyno results off from the next.
-Different dynos (Not all give the same numbers to a T)
-Weather conditions (Different conditions will show different results)
-Temperature (Hot vs cold vs humidity)
-The "health" of ones car (this can range from mechanical to electronics)
There are countless threads on Acurazine of dyno charts with what mods and before vs after. It's an average number STOCK vs what the average number one does MODDED. For what it's worth and all the time and research I did before going supercharged, Ive seen most push to 300 some a bit below, other a bit over. Would it be better If I said instead of 50hp gained more like 65-75 hp gained?
Have you kept up with MAS Thread? for his 6MT TL after all his work I believe his latest dyno chart shows him 382 hp and 335 TQ. (You can do the math on that one). I know he's running a HBP and tuned, but shows you what the blower can do if tuned right and have the right supporting mods. It's not unreasonable to get 70-100HP gains. Many will say this, biggest modification to a supercharged engine is precat deletes or high flow pre-cats. With a full exhaust system setup it's easy to gain 15+ extra WHP. The downside to the blower out of the box is the tuning ACM and the fact that the blower gets stupid hot.
If you'd like to look at MAS thread here's the page with the dyno chart.

- Let's not pollute this promotional sale thread
- No need for tutorials here
- No I don't go in the photography forum
- His car is far from stock
- The CT SC on a STOCK TL will yield what, 60HP? Putting a STOCK MT @ maybe 280? 285?
Like I said, I'm watching the videos, and still don't believe 310. Nor do I think anyone who read's this thread with the intent to purchase should expect numbers that high. Thus the reason for my comment.

Hell, with the same blower and ethonal with little other bolt ons (header, exhaust, high-flow inlet, injectors and RSX VTC) one could get 380 hp on CT Supercharged K24A2!
Most of the gains are locked up in the tuning. Must get a Hondata Flashpro to make the best of boost.

Not polluting anything, just stating facts for those that would want to supercharge their TL's. You should look into some of the link i've posted before posting back. If anyone has any questions about the comptech kit i'm sure Mr.Toeheel, Excelerate, myself and others would help out.

Like shown above in the post above it requires supporting mods to even come close to that #.
That's was my point.
I always had the personal goal of 350 with the CT SC kit.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Available credit makes this very tempting lol.
I understand we can retrofit the M90 to this kit. Is that correct?
Marcus, do you source the blowers directly from Eaton? Would you be able to source an M90 instead of the M62? If so, how much more would it cost?
Does a larger supercharger increase the risk of damaging the engine on stock internals?

These are CT Engineering kits. They assemble them and ship them complete. We do not source blowers for them. The other blower you are looking at is not likely compatible with the manifold and other items in the kit. Can't help you there unfortunately.
