how do you set a picture as your profile picture im stumped.

 

I believe there is a 15 day waiting policy to do so.

I think it both is a requirement before you can do other thing.

top left of the page hit "SETTINGS" and then hit "EDIT AVATAR" on the drop down list on the left.

rest is self explanatory.

 

Finally received full (obviously still a newb here) status and got an avatar up.

 

From my experience it is 15 day wait to have an avatar. I was able to post pics the day that I joined. I know it says 15 days for that, but since this site does not host the pictures, you will be able to post photos here by using a host site (photobucket, flicker, etc). All you do is copy the image code and paste it here.

 

Hey if no one said it yet, you have to wait 15 days.

 

Evidently both a fifteen day wait -and- five posts. That was my newbie experience (or lack thereof!).
