Street Racing 8 Deaths

Before any of this occured, I was at the car meet at Safeway at Arundel mills where alot of top modded cars were there showing off their rides as usual. I went home after that, but apparently alot of people went to go down 210 to race that friday night, the following Sat. morning I found out about this...

It's unbelievable...

Usually the one that gets killed is some innocent bystander standing waiting for a bus.

Keep it on the track.

Was he part of the street races? The way I'm reading it is that the Crown Victoria was driving on that same road as the race was going on and hit everyone through the smoke by accident. Am I getting that right?

Thats the way I read it .. Because of the street racers the CV driver will have a scar mentally the rest of his life.

yeah its some scary stuff..

it def makes me think twice when "playing" with other cars on the road. ive def calmed it down since when i was a teenager, but i know whenever i do it now, i regret it almost immediately afterwards.. i guess i need to stop getting caught up in the moment

Upon reading it, I'm picturing it this way...

The two cars peeled off leaving smoke and debri...

Once the cars passed the spectators, they all flew onto the highway watching the two car tail lights...

While that was going on, I guess the two crown vics decided it's time to get their own private race started, so they did...with "their lights off"

While there's still a trail of smoke from the previous racers and the highway not being well lit, it was pretty dark and decided to take off...

As they started going, next thing you know, they're driving through spectators...
