Storage Bin Liner
There are two storage bins between the radio and the shifter that both have little doors that cover them. The bottom bin also has a 12v socket.
In my TL AT w/Navi the bottom bin (the one with the 12V socket) has a thin removable rubber-like mat on the bottom. The top bin doesn't have a little mat.
Is this normal or am I missing a mat?
When I put things in the bin without the mat it rattles.
Can you buy the mats from the dealer?
Thanks,
Rick

They don't come with it, but you could make one of a variety of materials.
You can get the felt with the sticky back at Walmart, Home Depot, etc, and stick that in.
You can get the rubbery stuff to line your kitchen drawers and shelves, looks like a waffle, also at Walmart. I used this to put in my door pockets, and it works wonders keeping things quiet and from sliding around.
etc, etc, etc

I used cork in my car....I got the idea from the drawers in corporate jets...they're always lined with cork, and it looks really classy. I bought a roll of cork from Williams Sonoma, they sell it to line kitchen drawers, and it's easy to cut to fit. It has a really nice look..much nicer than felt or rubber.

Not a Blowhole
I have found that a few color matching face cloth towels work well, and double to spot clean or remove the occasional bird attack. I always have a small spray bottle (like an empty Minoxidil sprayer or smaller) with liquid detailing spray in the car. Great for cleaning the dash instruments of annoying smudges while avoiding scratching. Plus, you can wrap loose objects int he small hand towel, and it keeps stuiff from rattling around. I found some perfectly matching towels for Camel interiors at Target - got a big one to put under junior's car seat to avoid damaging the leather, from the seats feet, or junior's bottom (excretia of all sorts).

the cork comes in a natural color...but I've seen it dyed to match the interior of private jets....I used the cork in the natural color and think the constrast looks really nice..but that's just my opinion...other people might like it dyed to match.
