hey all. I just bought a G37S and the HIDs arent as bright (or blue) as the one on my 06 TL. Can anyone tell me the specs on the OEM HID bulbs on the TL? thanks

Philips 4300K. the difference could also be due to the projector lens

G37s come with Koito D2S bulbs where as TLs comes with Osram Xenarc bulbs.

The reason they were bluer/whiter on your TL is because they were color shifted. Give it a few more months of usage (100~150 hours) and these would be bluer/whiter as well but will loose some of their intensity.

HID bulbs get more blue the more they are used They will age to a point where they get purple at the end of their usefull life. Then its time for replacement.

First because Acura > Infiniti, and because TL uses a Projector Lens while Gs dont use them.

the TL's projects are by far one of the best on the market besides the Lexus LS ones. The output is phenomenal, the strength of the light and cut-off is unmatched by any other projectors that are put on cars today (besides the LS). The TL's headlights have spoiled me...
