SteveP66 RIP 02/26/08
SteveP66 passed away 02/26/2008. This was reported by his brother in this post and is quoted here.
For those of you who knew him, and for those of you who didn't but will miss and lament the loss of a member of our Acurazine Family, I'm starting this thread so you will know what happened and can pay your respects here, if you wish.

i read the title of this thread and thought his car had been in a wreck...never did i expect to read this...
Scott, i am truly sorry for the loss of your brother. i can't imagine my brother passing away all of a sudden, or at all...my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
i only spoke to Steve directly on here a few times...he contacted me last year about making an avatar for him. he was very polite and wanted a Cars TL made so he could use it as his avatar and show his son...I was later told his son got a huge kick out of it.

you will be greatly missed, Steve...you left us much too soon, but we know you're in a better place now.
rest in peace, my friend...

Wow so sorry to hear that, best wishes to you and your family - stay strong and remember the good times. If you don't mind me asking [please don't answer if you're not up to it] - was there a car accident or something?
Whoa...I was kinda scared to click on this thread, wanted to believe that it was like Blackura_NY's thread, but felt it wasn't, as that wasn't Steve's personality.
Steve was an original member of the "Grille Thread" team, and will be sorely missed. He had to go M.I.A. for awhile, to deal with family business (I won't mention what it was here, but I know you know brother) and once in a while I checked in on him to see how that was. But I didn't suspect anything was wrong with him. I hope he didn't go in pain. God bless his soul and keep his family!
I always wondered if, because I spend so much time here on this forum, that if I met an untimely demise, would there be a way that anyone would know to tell the others. I wondered that for any of us. While I am truly saddened by this post, I am glad Steve got a fond farewell from us!! I will do my best to let others know as well. Thanks for letting us know man!
Keep 'em modding up there STEVEEEEE!!! R.I.P.

Dark,
Thanks for the info, I noticed Steve hadn't been around in a while and wondered what had happened to him. I was recently reading an older thread that he had posted in and I thought " I wonder why he hasn't been posting lately."
I am very sorry to hear this happened. It does reminds us of just how fragile life is. Steve, you were, and will be missed, my condolences to your family
Scott, I'm very sorry to hear that Steve has passed away. He will be sorely missed. As darsksom1 said he was part of the grill team and I also had some interaction with him off the forums. He will be missed.
RIP Steve you will be sorely missed man. Scott my condolences go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Steve will always be known to me as Mr. Zaino. Steve thank you for everything you've done to be apart of this AZ family.
Sorry to hear this - hopefully everyone is able to celebrate his life rather than look back on his leaving.
Scott - As you're going through and posting here (which is very thoughtful of you by the way) - keep this in mind: I think most of us at some time or another put a little heart and soul into our cars - now the TL is your legacy to carry on in honor of your brother.

Condolences to the family, try and remember how lucky you were to have him and how lucky he was to have something he cared so much about and most of all how lucky we was to have people who cared so much for him, those aren't things that everyone is fortunate enough to be able to say of their short time in this life.
Having recently lost my grandfather, these are things I try and remind myself everyday, its still so hard though but I do think it helps me and hopefully it will help you and your loved ones to keep that in mind.
Please share my thoughts and those of others here with your family because its nice to know there is still some caring and compassion for one another in this world. And to Steve, R.I.P brother. -Manach
