steering wheel movement
steering wheel movement
I experience movement sometimes in my steering wheel, will rock a liittle back and forth. Usually noticable on interstate driving at higher speeds. Does anyone have this happen as well. I have had tires replaced twice, recently with LS-Z's. These tires seem to help some but steering wheel still has some movement.
There was a thread here with a review written in Detroit that said the TL was "twitchy" on the road, but that was only one writer's opinion. Have only seen one or two threads about this problem, but it is not widespread to my knowledge.
Some reports say the wider low-profile tires might cause this, but I would think it has more to do with wheel alignment. Some roads with ruts in them will cause this.
If this persists you should see your Service Manager and request a wheel alignment check, with adjustment if necessary.

Could be caused by steering or tires. I do feel my TL is quite "twitchy" or "light" in some roads. I expect the tires upgrade could help a little, but still unable to make it perfect.
