Steering Wheel Cover

Hey guys/gals! I am thinking about buying a steering wheel cover from Autozone. I had one on my Accord and liked the thicker feel. I saw one that I like yesterday and noted that the inside is rubber. Will one of those covers damage the leather of the steering wheel? I am not interested in a custom one or Aspec... just a cheap solution, but not at the risk of shredding my leather one.

They are real leather covers, quality made, and will 'thicken' the wheel- you will have leather against leather when it's installed. It will cost ~ $45 for a nice 2 tone, perforated leather cover. Here's mine (I don't have a pic of mine in the TL, but this is the one in my MR-2):
