Steering wheel conversion

Can i change my 2005 steering wheel to a type-s 2007 or 2008 steering wheel?
If i can, what are the few differences (besides the looks). If anyone knows a DIY thread, would you kindly link? thanks!\

Also, if i buy a 2007 bumper, along with the bigger grill kit, does it fit right in or do i have to make adjustments?

You'll need a new airbag and the actual steering wheel + the buttons. With the wiring diagram you should be able to use your current clockspring with the new buttons. You could swap it out with an 2007 one and wire up the buttons + the paddle shifters!

For the bumper you can put the TL-S one on with some cutting or you can put on the 2004-2006 Aspec Kit. You could end up spending at least 500+ dollars on getting a bumper painted + the new A-spec lip deepening on the color of your car.

OR

you could spend some money and trade into an actual TL-S, maybe 6MT, and have everything you want + a newer car!

Thank you! I'm considering that too although i just bought my car and it's at a very low mile for average age (81k miles), posted a small thread asking if i should and got a few unpleasant replies on why i shouldn't. haha
