Well I decided to take a closer look at the audio switch remote & HFL switch on the steering wheel. I tried removing the assembly holding the volume, channel & mode buttons first. The two screws behind the steering wheel where easy to remove , but the whole peice wouldn't come off. The horn cover and airbag needed to be removed. I stopped there and didn't wan't to mess with the airbag. I did see two bulbs on the back. One bulb for the "mode" button & one for the "volume" and "channel" button's.

Next, I removed the HFL switch assembly held by two screws. I needed to remove the plastic cover hiding the screw's. I was very careful not to break off any tabs. Behind the assembly you can see two bulbs. One for the top row for the "navi voice" & "answer call" button's. The other bulb is for the bottom row "cancel voice" & "hangup call" button's.

I recommend you don't try to change the bulbs yourself because you might break or scratch the parts or surrounding areas, unless you are no longer under warranty.

So inconclusion, ALL the buttons on the steering wheel should illuminate when you turn on your parking or headlights. The one's circled in red in the above picture DO NOT light up.
