Will a steering rack from a AUTO fit into my 04 6spd?

IIRC yes but why deviate getting the proper rack design for the manual besides you found a good price?

Also I there are differences to the steering feel. Auto wont feel as tight as the manual. I don't recall the correct info. There are some threads on this. I suggest to use google and search for some. Steering rack acurazine for example is one way to start.

I am pretty sure they will physically fit. If having the perfect steering feel isn't important, I don't see why you can't use it.

They are different, but there are 6spd racks on car-part.com as low as $75, dependent upon your location.
Looks like the housing etc is the same, only difference is the actual steering rack, so should fit no problem.
