Steering & Accident Question Type S

Got a black 08 type S from the dealer today for overnight test drive. when cornering there is wierd feedback in the steering wheel. Happens when going fast or slow in sharp near 90 degree turns. Feels like for a split second the wheel goes from tight to loose. Is that normal?

I'm thinking it may have been wrecked, under the hood its missing the plastic cover that goes over the battery and the 3 edges at the drivers side headlight/hood/bumper don't line up perfect which knowing honda was not within factory tolerance.

Thoughts????

was the power steering recall performed? If you are getting fedback, it may be low on power steering fluid as the steering ratio changes with speed. You might be feeling that transition.
