hey guys went over to Esserman Acura in miami yesterday, test drove the TL (this thing is a monster) and put down a deposit. The manager there is a family friend and so i am definately buying the car there, but i need to shop around a little in order to get the price down a bit. The quote i got from him is just over $42k, which is outrageous even given the extras im getting. can somebody tell me what they have paid (in florida or even miami, preferably) for this car:

SSM 5AT w/Navi
18" acura wheels
Full aero kit w/ deck lid spoiler

I think the number he gave me was just because of a high price on the wheels or the spoiler kit which i can probably get him to ease up on. thanks

check out SunnySide Acura in CA, their prices are very close to internal pricing (what the parts Dept. pays for them--the lowest cost).

Some dealers might mark them up to $1800, just for the wheels.
SunnySide Acura is $1212.80.
Actual cost might be around $1050.

Try to get Internal pricing on ALL Accessories, alarm upgrades, whatever you can. IT's like invoice, but don't call it that for this area. Use SunnySide as a source of INTEL Gathering.

In CA, the 7/100 Acura warranty with '0' deductible is $920.
I paid $100 commission over that, to throw the finance guy a bone.
